We at Musearta

Our story

We at MuseARTa would like to bring you important works of art as part of your wardrobe, but also in the form of your everyday textiles such as towels, tea towels, etc. so that they become part of your life. However, this should be done without trivializing the value of art or art per se. As a result, we have set ourselves the goal of achieving the best possible quality with our products.

For example, we produce all our socks with machines equipped with 200 needles, or we print our towels with digital printers, of which there are only 10 copies worldwide. These machines allow us an incomparable attention to detail. In addition, we try to set the cotton content of our products as high as possible and therefore use cotton yarn whenever possible.

No fast fashion baby

Our products are the opposite of fast fashion. The designs and prints, just like the works of art they represent, are meant to last forever. In addition, our range of unique works of art is constantly growing, i.e. you could even create your own small art collection.

Do It Yourself

Another service that we offer is the ability to design your own products. The order quantity for socks is just 150 dozen socks per design. So why not freshen up your next exhibition with a unique design? We produce these socks at no additional charge, i.e. only at the regular price per pair, as a thank you to the wonderful world of art.

Why we do it

our philosophy

Our aim is to bring art closer to people and to integrate them into everyday life. That is why we deliberately produce baby and children's socks because the love of art cannot be awakened early enough.

The focus is on the joy of art. Of course we also have to earn money, but we don't want to earn money at any price and we want everyone involved in the entire production chain, from knitters at the knitting machine to the saleswoman in the museum shop, to be properly rewarded.

It is also important to us that the rights of artists and museums are respected. We have signed numerous license agreements and pay high sums for them that benefit artists and museums. This is more important than ever, especially in times of tight public finances.

Conscious sustainability

Last but not least

Protecting the environment is important to us. Mail order has a significant impact on the environment, especially due to the return of products that have not been carefully ordered. That is why we deliberately do not send postage free, instead of taking high product prices and including the high handling costs for postage and returns in the price. We prefer when you buy our products in the museum shop, because that way you support the museums even more and help the environment.
