Our ambition is to bring art closer to people and to integrate it into everyday life. That is why we also produce baby and children's socks on purpose, because the love of art cannot be awakened early enough.
The joy of art is in the foreground. Of course we also have to earn money, but we don't want to make money at any price and we want all the people involved in the entire production chain, from the knitter at the knitting machine to the saleswoman in the museum shop, to be properly remunerated.
Furthermore, it is important to us that the rights of artists and museums are respected. We have concluded numerous licensing agreements and pay large sums of money that benefit artists and museums. Especially in times of tight public budgets, this is more important than ever.
Last but not least, the protection of the environment is close to our hearts. The environmental impact of the mail-order business is considerable, above all due to the return of products that have been ordered carelessly. That is why we deliberately do not ship postage-free, instead of charging high product prices and including the high handling costs for postage and returns in the price. We would prefer you to buy our products in the museum shop, because this way you support the museums even more and help the environment.
